THAT the Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of the Whole hereby receives for information, Report Number PW-2022-08-56, prepared by John Yungblut, Director of Public Works AND FURTHER approves the temporary road closure of Walter St. and Washington St. from Aug. 24-28, 2022 and Further approves Township dump trucks and drivers remove the waste that accumulates throughout the Music in the Fields weekend AND FURTHER approve waiving the Landfill tipping fees.

That the Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of the Whole hereby receives for information report number PW-2022-08-57, as prepared by John Yungblut, Director of Public Works.

THAT the Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of the Whole hereby approves Report Number PW-2022-08-58, prepared by John Yungblut, Director of Public Works AND accepts the tender from Landmark Structures Co. in the amount of $5,256,100.00 plus HST for the construction of an elevated water storage tank in Lucknow AND FURTHER authorizes the appropriate by-law coming forward.

That the Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of the Whole hereby receives for information Report Number BED-2022-08-34 prepared by Lauren Eby, Business Development Coordinator.

THAT the Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of Whole hereby approves report number BED-2022-08-35, prepared by Michelle Goetz, Manager of Strategic Initiatives and approves the quote of $3,000 + HST from Interkom to re-design our tourism kiosks and pedestrian signs.

THAT the Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of the Whole hereby receives for information Report Number BED-2022-08-36 prepared by Amy Irwin, Business and Economic Officer.

That the Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of the Whole hereby receives for information Report BED-2022-08-38 and approves the Point Clark Lighthouse Museum Interpretive Plan AND FURTHER, authorizes the Heritage Coordinator contract extension.

That the Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of the Whole hereby receives for information Report Number CAO-2022-08-23, prepared by Lindsay Small, Project Coordinator.

That the Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of the Whole hereby approves Report Number CAO2022-08-24 prepared by Mary Rose Walden, Chief Administrative Officer and authorizes the consolidation & changes to the Human Resources Policies as noted AND FURTHER authorizes the appropriate by-laws coming forward.

THAT the Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of the Whole hereby receives for information all items listed in Section 5.

THAT the Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of the Whole hereby approves Report CLK-2022-08-75 prepared by Emily Dance, Clerk & Mary Rose Walden, CAO AND approves moving forward with declaring the Ripley Industrial Park Surplus AND the intent to sell Block 4 AND FURTHER authorizes the appropriate By-laws coming forward.

That the Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of the Whole hereby approves Report Number CLK-2022-08-71 prepared by Emily Dance, Clerk AND confirms the Township has no concerns with the Pine River Boat Club doing channel maintenance at the mouth of the Pine River in 2022 or 2023 AND FURTHER directs the Clerk to send necessary documentation to the Pine River Boat Club and Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority.

That the Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of the Whole hereby receives for information Report Number CLK-2022-08-73 prepared by Kelly Lush, Deputy Clerk.

THAT the Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of the Whole hereby support the Town of South Bruce Peninsula in addressing the physician shortage and directs staff to distribute as they see fit.

THAT the Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of the Whole hereby support the Municipality of Tweed in their request to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs to consider increasing the administration fee on wildlife claims AND directs staff to distribute as they see fit.

THAT the Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of the Whole hereby support the Ontario Coalition for Better Child Care (OCBCC) and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) in proclaiming and participating in Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 AND directs staff to distribute as they see fit.
