Council discussed deferring the project for a year, as one section will be significantly more expensive than the other. Council inquired about the possibility of only one side of the road. Staff discussed the width required for two way traffic pedestrian and cycling traffic, and the cost savings would not be 50%. Staff discussed the opportunity to have "shovel ready plans" ready for potential grants, and to include in the upcoming strategic plan. Council inquired about the Lake Range Drive vehicle speeds and discussed the use of electronic speed signs.
